Cost: Free to new beekeepers.
When: the 3rd Saturday of each month starting at 2 pm. Ends in September.
Where: The bee yard at H&S Bee Supply, 231 Airview Dr., Mt. Airy, NC 27030 [ map ].
What to bring: Please bring a chair and protective clothing for working in the bee yard. We provide the other tools. Please do not bring hive tools.

Surry County Beekeepers have partnered with the folks at H&S Bee Supply to provide a mentor program for new and still learning beekeepers. This program is meant to teach new beekeepers hive management throughout the first year. Participants will be given the opportunity to hear from experienced beekeepers as well as getting some practical experience in a working bee hive.
