At the SCBA meeting on July 11th, Blue Ridge Bee Supply presented the chapter with a four-frame extractor. The extractor will be available to members of the chapter for use extracting their honey. A hot knife will also be purchased by the chapter to be used by anyone wishing to use it.

Blue Ridge Bee Supply continues to support the Surry Beekeepers and beekeepers throughout the area by sponsoring special events, holding monthly workshops (many of them hands-on) and now providing members of SCBA with the means for extracting honey.
